George E. Bratcher Jr., is the founder of Bratcher & Associates. He has over 53 years of experience in the real estate industry as an Assessor, Treasurer, Building Inspector, Zoning Administrator, Broker and Real Estate Appraiser. His extensive experience in the public sector and the real estate industry combine to provide the necessary knowledge to advise clients on all types of real estate issues.
Since starting the company in 1988, Mr. Bratcher has had the opportunity to appraise a variety of types of real estate from residential to heavy industrial properties. George has provided appraisal and consulting services for financial institutions, attorneys, and government entities, as well as individual property owners.
Mr. Bratcher is listed on the Professional Development Program Registry of the Appraisal Institute, having completed the industry-approved seminar involving the appraising of conservation easements. George has completed numerous conservation easement appraisals and has an in-depth knowledge of the process.

John Vandehei

John has over 22 years experience in both commercial and residential real estate appraisal. He specializes in residential real estate, from single‐family homes to multi‐unit apartment complexes. From typical suburban homes to high‐value luxury homes. From the small city lot to the multi‐acre country estate. His clientele ranges from banks and credit unions (mortgages) to attorneys and private parties dealing in matters of divorce, estates and other property disputes. John has the experience to tackle complex appraisal assignments that can be beyond the expertise of other appraisers. He prides himself in providing fair and honest services that meet high ethical standards.
Robin Morehart

Robin Morehart joined Bratcher and Associates in 2021 and has been a valuable asset to the company with her 10 years of real estate experience and knowledge in the residential and commercial market.
Robin has appraised many types of properties including single family, multi family, office, industrial, warehouse, farm land, and vacant lots. She can help you with probate and litigation or she can estimate the value of your property for business or estate decisions. She can also list and market your property if that's what you decide is best for you
Justin Holm

Joining the team is Justin Holm, a Limited Licensed Appraiser actively pursuing his Certified Residential License. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Justin also serves the City of Battle Creek as a firefighter and brings valuable insight from his background in claims adjusting. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Olivet College and embodies the values of dedication, service, and integrity.
Taylor D'ambrosio
Office Administrator
Taylor D’ambrosio is currently Bratcher Morehart & Associates office administrator and is also training as a Limited Licensed Appraiser. She became a dedicated and detail-oriented member of the team in 2025. She has an associate’s degree and is currently working towards her bachelor's from the University of Maryland.
